The scent is quite sophisticated and elegant. I haven't smelled the original so I don't know how it compares but on its own it is a very good quality scent. Sillage is not that great but I can smell it now on me after 6 hours so the longevity is quite good. I detect mildly sweet and incensy notes after drydown which are playful but not too sharp. I love it! Will definitely purchase it again.
